Donald Trump fires red balls at his own camp

Donald Trump fires red balls at his own camp

USA: Donald Trump fires red balls at his own camp

On Twitter, the US president called Republican leaders "pathetic"

Donald Trump has changed his pain. And the most amazing thing is that he is now mainly attacking his own camp. The U.S. president on Tuesday redoubled his virulence against the tenors of the Republicans, described as "pathetic," sowing a little more trouble in his party in the run-up to two crucial Senate elections.

From his club in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, and just before starting another day of golf, Donald Trump expressed his frustration in a series of particularly virulent tweets. The object of his wrath: the increasingly strong prospect of Congress rejecting its veto of the defense budget, which would be a first since his arrival in the White House.

Senate Republican leader not impressed

"The weak and tired Republican "leadership" will allow the bad defense law to pass," the outgoing president said on Twitter. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell soon made it clear that he would not be impressed by presidential tweets, calling in a message of no confidence to Donald Trump to reject his veto.

Crossing the line on several fronts, Donald Trump has also once again advanced conspiracy theories to deny his defeat to Joe Biden. And once again his targets are in his camp: "The leadership of the Republican Party chooses the path of minimal resistance. Our leaders (not me, of course!) are pathetic. The only thing they know how to do is lose!. The outgoing president, still popular among Republican voters, matched his tweets with a thinly veiled threat to his party's lawmakers." P.S. I have elected many senators and members of the House of Representatives. I think they've forgotten!.

The balance of power at stake

David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler will surely hear it. The two Republican senators are playing their seats on January 5 in two by-elections in Georgia, which captivate the political world. Because with them, the whole balance of power under Joe Biden is at stake. If the two Democratic candidates - Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff - win, Democrats will regain control of the Senate, and hold all the levers of power in Washington.

On paper, Republicans are off to a good start, but Donald Trump's angry recent weeks in the White House have worried the Grand Old Party. His tirades against the electoral system could, among other things, undermine the mobilization of their constituents in Georgia. Finally, the president's unexpected reversals on the plan to help the U.S. economy embarrass Republican senators. With less than a month to go before he leaves office, the conservative camp is increasingly concerned about the scorched earth strategy of the 45th president of the United States.

Russia: Vladimir Putin congratulates Joe Biden and says he is "ready for collaboration"

Russian President waited for official Electoral College vote to send a message to Joe Biden

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday congratulated Joe Biden on his election as US president and said he wanted to work with him, despite the harmful relations between the two countries.

"I, for one, am ready for collaboration and contact with you," he wrote in a telegram, according to a Kremlin statement. The Russian president is one of the few leaders who has waited for the U.S. Electoral College vote in favor of Joe Biden to congratulate him, explaining the refusal by uncertainty over the outcome of the November 4 election given Donald Trump's refusal to acknowledge his defeat and his multiple legal actions.

Biden stands firm against Russia

"V. Putin wished the President-elect success and expressed his conviction that Russia and the United States despite their disagreements, many problems and challenges" in the world can be solved, the Kremlin added in its statement. Joe Biden has vowed to stand firm against Russia, accused of including meddling in the U.S. electoral system to favor the election of Donald Trump in 2016.

The US billionaire has always denied benefiting from Russian efforts, as has Vladimir Putin, despite the findings of US investigators that led to heavy sanctions against Russia.

In this article we will discuss all the possibilities due to which election results of United States of America may be delayed.

The presidential race has almost been run, but after election day, patience may be needed.

We may not find out who's won on Tuesday. In fact, it could be days before the result becomes clear.

That’s not unusual by historical standards though, and it's common practice for votes to be counted after election day.

The coronavirus pandemic has complicated matters as well. The increase in mail-in voting is expected to push back the release of full results in many key states.

This is because states start pre-processing and tabulating, or tallying, their votes on different dates. Some states, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin for example, do not begin pre-processing ballots until election day, meaning their results may take longer.

Covid infected Donald Trump could be discharged today

The core message is be wary of the numbers. A candidate who takes an early lead may end up being overtaken as postal or in-person votes are tallied.

The biggest factor that may slow things down this year is clear: Millions of Americans decided to vote by mail rather than risk contracting coronavirus at a polling place. And in general, those mail ballots take longer to count.

Election workers must remove the ballots from their envelopes, check for errors, sort them and flatten them all before they can be run through scanners the moment polls close and be tabulated. In states with well-established vote-by-mail programs, this processing happens weeks before Election Day. The results are often released quickly.

But several states did not have this system in place before this year and laws on the books prohibited election officials from processing the ballots well in advance of Election Day. Without a head start, there’s virtually no way to process and count all the mail votes on Election Day, while also counting all the in-person votes.

No matter how delayed the results are according to constitution New president will start his term in office on 20 January at 12 o clock.
