10. RAW, India

Research and Analysis Wing



Research and Analysis Wing(RAW) was created in 1968 as a result of country’s poor intelligence performance in its recent conflicts against china in 1962 and Pakistan in 1965. IN both wars India faced defeat.

 RAW objectives consisted:

 

To watch the development of international communism and the schism between the two big nations, the Soviet Union and China. Both these powers had direct access to the communist parties in India.

 

To control and limit the supply of military hardware to Pakistan, mostly from European countries, America and more importantly from China.

 

The most important and main objective of raw is to destabilize Pakistan internal conditions by supporting and emerging terrorist groups. RAW invested billions of dollars for this purpose. Dozens of their agents were caught by Pakistan intelligence agency.   

 

9. ASIS, Australia

Australian Secret Intelligence Agency




The Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) was established on May 13 1952 as a collector of foreign intelligence, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region but its existence remained secret even within Government until 1972.

 

According to its website its objective is to protect and promote Australia’s vital interests through the provision of unique foreign intelligence services as directed by Government.

 

ASIS is a part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio. Its head is directly responsible to Minister for Foreign Affairs.

 

The headquarters of ASIS is within DFAT’s headquarters in Canberra. Its current Director General is Paul Symon


8. DGSE, France

Directorate-General for External Security

 



Directorate-General for External Security(DGSE) is France’s external intelligence agency.

 

On April 2,1982,the new socialist government of Francois Mitterrand extensively reformed the SDECE and renamed it DGSE.

 

DGSE operates under instructions of the French Ministry of Defence and works alongside its domestic counterpart.

 

The DGSE, in providing intelligence and safeguarding French national security, notably by performing paramilitary and counterintelligence operations abroad.

 

 As other intelligence agencies details of its operations and organization are highly classified and are not made public.

 

7. SIS(MI6), United Kingdom

Secret Intelligence Service



Secret intelligence Service was formed in 1909 as a section of the Secret Service Bureau specializing in foreign intelligence.

SIS experienced dramatic growth during World War I and officially adopted its current name around 1920. The name MI6 originated as a flag of convenience during World War II.

 

MI6 have three main core aims:

 

 1. Stopping terrorism

 

 2.Disrupting the activity of hostile states

 

  3.Giving the UK a cyber advantage



SIS is the foreign intelligence service of the government of the United Kingdom, tasked mainly with the covert overseas collection and analysis of human intelligence (HUMINT) in support of the UK's national security.


 SIS is a member of the country's intelligence community. Its Chief is accountable to the country's Foreign Secretary.


6. BND, Germany

Federal Intelligence Agency

BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst) was founded during the Cold War in 1956 as the official foreign intelligence agency of West Germany, which had recently joined NATO, and in close cooperation with the CIA.

 

BND is the foreign intelligence agency of Germany directly subordinated to the Chancellor's Office. The BND headquarters is located in central Berlin and is the world's largest intelligence headquarters. The BND has 300 locations in Germany and foreign countries. In 2016, it employed around 6,500 people. 10% of them were military personnel who are formally employed by the Office for Military Sciences. The BND is the largest agency of the German Intelligence Community.


BND divisions were concerned with subversion, counterintelligence, and foreign intelligence.


5. FSB, Russia

Federal Security Service

 



The Federal Security Service is one of the successor organization of the Soviet  Committee of State Security (KGB). Following the attempted coup of 1991 in which some KGB units as well as the KGB head Vladimir Kryuchkov played a major part. The KGB was dismantled and ceased to exist from November 1991.

 

In 1995, the FSK was renamed and reorganized into the Federal Security Service (FSB) by the Federal Law "On the Federal Security Service" (the title of the law as amended in June 2003) signed by the president on 3 April 1995.

 

Its main responsibilities are within the country and include counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism.

 

Its surveillance includes investigating some other types of grave crimes and federal law violations. Its headquarter is present in Lubyanka Square, Moscow's center.

 

Under Russian Federal Law, the FSB is a military service just like the armed forces, , the FSO, the SVR,the MVD, the FSKN, Main Directorate for Drugs Control, and EMERCOM's civil defense, but its commissioned officers do not usually wear military uniforms.

 

4. MOSSAD, Israel




Mossad short for HaMossad leModiʿin uleTafkidim Meyuḥadim meaning "Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations") is the national intelligence agency of Israel.

 

Mossad was formed on December 13, 1949, as the Central Institute for Coordination at the recommendation of Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion to Reuven Shiloah.

 

Ben Gurion wanted a central body to coordinate and improve cooperation between the existing security services, army's intelligence department (AMAN), Internal Security Service (Shin Bet), and foreign office's "political department".

 

In March 1951, it was reorganized and made a part of the prime minister's office which reports directly to the prime minister.

 

Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection, covert operations, and counterterrorism. Mossad is separate from Israel's democratic institutions. Because no law defines its purpose, objectives, roles, missions, powers or budget.

 

And it is exempt from the constitutional laws of the State of Israel Mossad has been described as a deep state. Its director answers directly and only to the Prime Minister.

 

Its annual budget is estimated to be around 10 billion shekels (US$2.73 billion) and it is estimated that it employs around 7,000 people.

 

Mossad works with RAW to support terrorist groups and organizations in Pakistan. Mossad helps India against Pakistan and its main objective is to destabilize Islamic countries like Lebanon, Syria,Iraq,Iran, Palestine,Turkey and Pakistan.

 

3. CIA, America

Central Intelligence Agency



The Central Intelligence Agency is a civilian foreign intelligence service of the federal government of the United States.

 

The Central Intelligence Agency was formed in July 26 1947 when Harry S. Truman signed the National Security Act into law. A major impetus for the creation of the agency was growing tensions with the USSR following the end of World War II.

 

Its objective is to gather, process, and analyze national security information from around the world primarily through the use of human intelligence.

 

CIA reports to the Director of National Intelligence and is primarily focused on providing intelligence for the President and Cabinet of the United States of America.

 

CIA Releases Nearly 470,000 Additional Files Recovered in May 2011 Raid on Usama Bin Ladin’s Compound.

 

CIA has grown in size as a result of the9-11 attack. In 2013, The Washington Post reported that in the fiscal year 2010, the CIA had the largest budget of all IC agencies, exceeding previous estimates.

 

2. MSS, China

Ministry Of State Security



The Ministry of State Security (MSS) is the intelligence, security and secret police agency of the People's Republic of China (non-military area of interests).

 

The MSS was preceded by the Central Investigation Department (CID), which was China's main intelligence organization from 1955 to 1983. The MSS was created in 1983 with the merging of the CID and the counter-intelligence elements of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.

 

MSS is responsible for counter-intelligence, foreign intelligence and political security. MSS has been described as one of the most secretive intelligence organizations in the world. It is headquartered in Beijing.

 

The mission of the MSS is to ensure "the security of the country through effective measures against enemy agents, spies, and counter-revolutionary activities designed destabilize China's Economy and internal conditions.

 

MSS main objectives are linked with gathering information from India and particularly from America.


1. ISI, Pakistan

Inter Services Intelligence

 


 

The Inter-Services Intelligence was created in 1948. The Inter Services Intelligence(ISI) is the premier intelligence agency of Pakistan which is operationally responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing national security information from around the world.

 

The head of ISI is directly responsible to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.The ISI is currently headed by Lieutenant-General Faiz Hameed who was appointed Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence on 17 June 2019.

 

The ISI was structured to be operated by officers from the three main military services of Pakistan, Army, Air force and Navy and to specialize in the collection, analysis, and assessment of external military and non-military intelligence.

 

The ISI is headed by a Director-General who is  serving Lieutenant-General (Three-star general) in the Pakistan Army.

 

Three Deputy Director-Generals who are serving Two-star military officers report directly to the Director-General.There are three main wings in ISI.

 

1.Internal Wing: Responsible for domestic intelligence and counter-intelligence, counter-espionage, and counter-terrorism.

2. External Wing: Responsible for external intelligence, external counter-intelligence, and espionage.

3. Foreign Relations Wing: Responsible for diplomatic intelligence and foreign relations intelligence.

 

The ISI gained global recognition and fame in the 1980s when it supported the Afghan Mujahideen against the Soviet Union during the Soviet–Afghan War.

 

During the war, the ISI worked in close coordination with the CIA of the United States to train and fund the Mujahideen with American, Pakistani, and Saudi funds. The credit of disintegration of Soviet Union goes to ISI.

 

ISI former head said:

                                      We defeated Soviet Union with America by Taliban in Afghanistan and We will defeat America by Taliban in Afghanistan.

 

Taliban-America peace talks are the proof of this statement. America wasted 2000 Billion dollars in war with Taliban but did not get victory. America needs Pakistan for the departure from Afghanistan.

 

ISI captured dozens of RAW agents including kulbushan Jadhav.

Indian former RAW chief A.S. Dulat said:
