TSMC officially begins 5 nm Snapdragon 875 SoC
According to the news TSMC begins the mass production of new Flagship Snapdragon 875 SoC.
It seems that COVID-19 has not affected the companies plans and it is all set to launch the next flagship SoC by the end of the year.
As per reports now TSMC has already begins the mass production of SoC and it has also start the production of X60 5nm 5G modem of Snapdragon.
Unlike the Snapdragon 865, the 875 will have the X60 5G modem integrated on-die.
Some estimates indicate that the Snapdragon 875 chipset could be delivered to Qualcomm somewhere around September.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon flagship SoC are widely used in all top flagship phones around the globe.
It is rumoured that Snapdragon 875 will enhance the CPU as well GPU to overall boost the performance.
The Snapdragon 875 SoC will be powering the top flagship Smartphones around the world next year.
